Assessment of language skills

Process and product are important in the learning process. Thus, we need to know how to assess the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) as well as grammar and vocabulary, especially in EFL (English as a Foreign Language) settings, like in Chile.
This was the main discussion in the Assessment of Integrated Skills course at the University of Tarapaca, Arica (Chile).
It was a great experience to share some experiences with my colleagues, and specially with Professor Gladys Aguilera and Dr. Stephen Gaies (in the picture), a well known researcher in TESOL (Teaching English to Students of Other Languages).
